Al Maha Int Hotel Oman - Muscat

I loved the central location for shopping and dining! 😊 the reception staff could use some serious improvement in customer service. The check-in was a bit frustrating overall.

Truly enjoyed Muscat, the hotel was nice close to the airport. The room was well furnished and neat with twine bed included.

Definitely, there was service missing, we were a little disappointed.

We asked for deluxe queen room and it was well furnished and reasonably large with twine bed.

The hotel has a great central location, making it easy to explore local shopping areas and restaurants.

The air conditioning in the room struggled to effectively cool the space during peak heat.

The hotel was exceptionally comfortable, with favourable location close to the airport. Spicy food, very, very nice stuff at all times. Location near different shops as well as the restaurant. For tea or coffee visit Caribou Coffee nearby.

The layout of the room is very good for a medium-long term stay

The friendly staff quickly stored our luggage, and clean gym was great!

Conveniently located between Airport and downtown, Easy access to main highways for touring. Excellent staff attitude from Reception onwards.

The staff are all very helpful and well trained in customer satisfaction matters. From check-in to check-out we could not fault them. Breakfast and Dinner menus are similar to other Middle East hotels and are quite adequate. Cedric the hotel manager offered us an upgrade to a vip suite which was kind. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. Our room was huge and well made up each day. The hotel is located in a residential area and has all sorts of local services and food stores and restaurants within walking distance, cheap laundries etc. Free cable internet, onsite parking and and a tea-making tray were in the room. Great!

Some minor downsides: High noise from people in the tiled corridors as the room doors are too thin; no bath, en-suite not always cleaned fully. A bigger issue was the high noise level from the split A/C system which drowned out the TV and then the volume increase during the advertising breaks. I had to use ear plugs to get to sleep.

We loved how the hotel had a cheerful vibe as soon as we entered. The location is perfect for shopping and dining. Like Mr Deepu and Mr Kafeel, were pretty good too. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby Gulf and checking out the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.

In my wife's opinion, an upgrade to the mattresses would be nice.

The hotel was good, staff was quite friendly, good rooms, checkin process was quite fast.Overall the hotel is very good value for money.

Spacious, comfortable rooms, a small but very pleasant roof-top swiming-pool, friendly and helpful staff, excellent value for money. Would definitely go back.

A strange smell came from the airconditionning unit. Breakfast is adequate but a little more variety would have been welcome.

This hotel is really clean, and the cleaning crew are super dedicated. Reception staff, especially tauheed, were really helpful and let me check out late. The beautiful double room was spacious and comfy, with great air con. It's nice that they upgraded the restaurant and the service is way better now. The location is pretty good for getting around muscat.

The tv channels weren't too great for westerners, kind of annoying. A bit of noise from the street outside sometimes.

Hotel is 2 years old with spacious rooms which are very clean and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good ( Al Ghubra area ) and it is only 8 minutes drive from the Muscat airport . Breakfast of the hotel offers a selection of western and local items. For our taste more than enough. It is only 10 minutes walk to the beach and the Chedi Hotel. There are many shops and eateries in the surrounding. For those who want to do shopping, the mall " city centre Seeb" is only 10 minures drive away from the hotel. On the roof top there is a small swimming pool and a nice fitness centre is located on the 5 th floor. This hotel is absolutely recommendable for those who want to stay in Muscat for few days. Good value for money!!!
